Email marketing is the most important communication channel and one part of my job that I truly love. The primary goals of my emails are as follows:
1. Educate Customers and Establish A Brand: Customer education occurs through onboarding drip campaigns, product marketing updates, and transactional emails. I love designing email strategies for every stage of the customer journey, and you will find many examples of education emails in my portfolio.
2. Drive Transactions: Plain and simple, the primary email metric that I care about is driving transactions. Open Rates and high CTR's are exciting, but there is nothing better than convincing a customer to make a purchase because of an email that you delivered.
3. Activation & Re-Engagement I love writing timely emails that convince customers to become an active customer or to visit our site again. The only way to be truly great in this category is to properly segment customer lists and to always send relevant emails to the right audiences.
